Junior Product Owner (Full Time)

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Senior Product Manager to plan and coordinate new sites to ensure consistency with product goals and objectives.
  • Work within an agile framework to assist with product backlog execution.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from customers, stakeholders and other teams to shape requirements, features and end products.
  • Break requirements into iterative sprint-sized stories that optimize speed-to-value.
  • Write user stories and epics and ensure the product backlog is visible, transparent, and clear.
  • Priorities stories and tasks within sprint with the scrum team to avoid blockers and increase overall team productivity.
  • Articulate business and customer value to the development team and use it to guide prioritization.
  • Tracks progress towards the release of a product.
  • Define customer needs and the associated features to meet those needs.
  • Advocates on behalf of the customer for the development team.
  • Review test cases and help establish acceptance criteria.
  • Assist with User Acceptance Testing and with defect creation and management.
  • Assist in production support issues; investigate and analyze system and process deficiencies, Prioritizes defect or bug resolution.
  • Assist in tracking defects and enhancement requests.
  • -Work to foster and enhance teamwork within the organization through sprint retrospective and review.
  • Communicate with clients/partners to understand business needs.
  • Communicate with clients/partners release progress or issues.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and designing sprints.
  • Asset senior product owner in conducting user interviews and research to come up with creative ways to solve challenges and improve product.

Qualifications

  • Software engineering or any related major.
  • 0 -3 years of experience in project management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good English language.
